NOKR is
HERE to assist both
Local and State EMERGENCY Agencies
NOKR is an
emergency resource system that only provides access to registered
emergency agencies.
(Police, Sheriff, Medical Examiner, Coroner, State or County Public
Guardian Agencies and Hospitals). Only Local and State agencies working to locate your
emergency point of contact due to urgent need have access to NOKR.
The NOKR service is useful in locating/finding the Next Of Kin or
the emergency point of contact for an
individual.
An individual will
register themselves or a family member, using the
registration
page or the
mail-in/fax form
page.
All internet registrations are processed and sent via secure
socket layer (SSL)
to
the NOKR registry at a separate secure location. This
location is User Name and Password Protected.
Once NOKR is contacted by a Local or State Agencies, NOKR will provide
the agency
with directions on how to register their agency to begin searching.
Once the agency has registered, we will issue a user name and
password to use the search feature.
There is no
cost involved for using this service to the registrant or the
registered
agencies.
Many registrations will contain a photo
of the individual and or other vital information to make a distinct
match.

We encourage all agencies to place a
link to the (NOKR) National Next Of Kin Registry
www.nokr.org as a support service from
their department's website.
To request authorization and
access via email, you must submit your request
from a department email address
(registration-email).
For security reasons, we will not accept a registration request from
email accounts other then what is specified below.
NOKR will only validate
emails from county, city, state or federal agencies responsible for
locating next of kin or emergency contacts.
